Kiss: Lightning Speed Acrylic Dip Kit

Hey what's up everybody, it's your girl Keah, back at it again with another review; and today we will be looking at the Kiss Lightning Speed Acrylic Dip Kit. Now, I'm an avid do-it-yourselfer and for me this kit is a major Go! If you're on a budget or just not in the mood to dish out salon prices at the nail salon then this is the kit for you.

What you get:
40 Nail Tips: 20 Natural/ 20 French
Kiss Brush On Gel Resin
Kiss Dipping Powder: Clear
Kiss Gel activator Spray
Cuticle Stick
Nail Filer
Buffing Block
Instructions

Simplified Steps:
  1. Trim and lightly buff natural nail to remove shine. Push back or remove cuticles.
  2. Find correct nail tip and size it to natural nail.
  3. Apply gel resin to weld of the artificial nail tip and press and hold to natural nail for 5 seconds. Repeat for remaining four fingers.
  4. Cut and file tips to desired length and shape.
  5. One nail at a time, apply a layer of gel resin to entire nail and dip entire nail into the Dipping Powder.
  6. Lightly dust off excess powder, apply another layer of gel resin and dip nail. after applying resin to each nail wipe off brush before dipping back into the bottle to prevent brush from hardening. *For added strength, do a third layer.
  7. Apply gel resin to all 5 fingers and spray with activator spray.
  8. Buff to smooth and reshape nails.
  9. Repeat steps 1-8 on other hand.
  10. Paint, decorate and design nails!
To Remove:
  1. Trim off as much nail as possible.
  2. Apply cuticle oil or Vaseline to cuticle area to prevent excess dehydration.
  3. Fill a bowl with acetone based polish remover and dip nails for 15-20 mins.
  4. Using cuticle stick gently push melted tips off of natural nail.
  5. File and trim nails. Apply nail strengthening polish to nails and cuticle oil to cuticles.
Removed nails after two and a half weeks but could have went longer. Gel and regular polish holds well.
This is such a fun little kit that you can bring for girls night/ spa night and let your creativity flow. I'm a person who likes getting my nails done, but there are some days where I don't feel like dealing with scheduling appointments and sitting in a crowded nail salon for hours. Plus when it comes to designing, it's much easier for me to get the idea in my head directly onto my nails rather than trying to articulate my design concept to someone else; that's why I enjoy the simplicity and versatility of this acrylic nail dip system.

Tried dip kit with full cover nails for added reinforcement. Nails were much stronger. Got two weeks of wear.
