DevaCurl No-Poo Original Cleansing Conditioner

Howdy Y'all! With all the summer sun and the extra sweat associated with the season, I find myself constantly reaching for something to cleanse my ever thirsty hair; and as much as I love that clean feel from using shampoo, too much shampooing is never a good thing, so I often co-wash (conditioner wash) in the summer with a cleansing conditioner. I don't own a lot of co-washes but one of my favorites has to be the Deva Curl No-Poo Original Zero Lather Cleansing Conditioner.

OBIA Naturals @HueAffair Tour

Hey dolls! It’s Keah, back at it again with another review (lol jk). This week’s post is about a wonderful event I attended this past weekend. On Saturday May 19th, I had the privilege of attending the HueAffair Tour as a volunteer brand ambassador for OBIA Naturals. HueAffair is an annual hair show that has a bunch of different vendors selling hair and body products at discounted prices you won’t believe. Camille Rose Naturals, Palmers, TGIN, by Made Beautiful, and OBIA Naturals were some of the vendors there, just to name a few. OBIA Naturals is a brother/sister duo company consisting of Obia Ewah and Omini Ewah who create natural hair and skincare products that utiliza natural ingredients, are vegan, and pH balanced.

My loves, my darlings, my dears, I think I have finally found my line of dream products for my dry, thick, unruly hair! I have only recently started using products from the same line. Normally I would mix and match shampoos, conditioners, and deep conditioners from completely different brands. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the constant mixing of products can sometimes leave your hair exhausted and leaving you a little confused. Isolating a specific line of products can help you pinpoint exactly what your hair does and doesn't like and my type 4 low porosity hair and I definitely like the Carol's Daughter Rhassoul Clay (active living haircare) Collection. Here are three products in this amazing trio:

Deep treatment, leave-in, skin moisturizer: A product that claims to do all three? Hmmm. Hello lovelies 👋! Today I'm coming to you with the Shea Soft & Smooth Creamy Hair Butter by OGX. This hair butter has humongous claims coming from a tiny package. Weighing in at just 6.6oz this hair butter claims it could be used as a deep treatment, a leave-in conditioner and a moisturizer for your body! At first, I thought this product was just a regular cream moisturizer for your hair, but after peeling the top of the packaging back and discovering all these claims written on the label, I had no choice but to put these claims to the test and come through with the come through with a review for y'all.

Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil

What's up guys?! Are you tired of this shady New York Springter weather toying with your tresses? Tired of that dry, itchy scalp you thought was left behind in winter? I know I am. But have no fear, Mielle Organics Mint Almond oil is here! Let me tell y’all: I had recently finished my Jamaican Black Castor Oil and was in desperate need of a new oil. I’m a product junkie on the low so I really didn’t want to go back to castor oil without trying something new first. I was online looking for oils that I could use on my scalp AND my hair simultaneously(some oils are just meant for the hair shaft and not the scalp). ORS To The Rescue!

Hello bloggers and bloggettes! Spring is upon us yet again, and it’s time to whip out those box braids and wash and go's and the ORS Olive Oil with Pequi Oil Smooth and Easy Edges hair gel is just the product you’ll need to keep those edges sleek and in place all day long.

Tbh I was a little on the fence about purchasing the ORS edge control, but after finally giving it a try after debating giving it to my curl-friend I am head over heels in love! The promise of this edge control is to “keep wavy, curly, kinky edges smooth.” Upon reading this I though “yeah right and I’m the queen of Wakanda.” Boy did this edge control deliver, and girl did I feel like a queen! I was utterly stunned when I saw what this product did for my stubborn, unruly edges. I am one of the type 4’s (pretty sure I’m 4C) and this product left me be-dazed.
