Nyx Glitter Goals Liquid Lipstick

What's up Superstars and Happy New Year 🎊! I hope 2019 started out with a bang for you all and is treating you well. Today we will be taking a look at the new Glitter Goals Liquid Lipstick by Nyx; and with Valentine's Day only 24 days away, this unique, shimmery matte lipstick could be just the thing you need to jazz up your look for that and any special occasion throughout this year. This Lipstick was sent to me in the shade Cherry Quartz for testing purposes from Influenster and these are my honest opinions on how the product performed.

Now, in case you all haven't noticed I'm not much of a makeup person. I think makeup is an amazing expression of art and I commend those who can beat their face to the Gawds, but unfortunately makeup and I just don't have that type of relationship. That being said I was quite iffy about trying out this color (Cherry Quartz) because it can be a little difficult for me to select a shade of lipstick I like that matches my skin tone that isn't too dark or too light.

Upon applying the Nyx Glitter Goals lipstick I noticed it was very pigmented and applied smooth and evenly onto my lips. The lipstick didn't take very long to set/dry and I was very pleased with that, so by the time I grabbed my keys to walk out the door my lips were fully dry and good to go. This lipstick got very shimmery when I lightly smacked my lips together after it set and left my lips with a pretty shine against the fuchsia color of the lipstick which I didn't mind. What I did mind was the fact that this lipstick transfers onto food, cups, skin, etc.

Nyx Glitter Goals Liquid Lipstick is not kiss proof so if you plan on smooching with your significant other then I would suggest light lip activity until you fully remove the product, if you know what I mean. (No one likes walking around with smudged lipstick when they're out and about). As with most liquid lipsticks I've tried this one feels a little drying so be sure to apply some type of moisturizer to your lips before giving this baby a try. Overall I'd give this product a 7/10 and with a total of 9 color popping shades to choose from, everyone is bound to find a favorite!
