My darlings! Long time no see. I know, I know, this post is long overdue but, trust me, it's all for a good cause. I like to use new products I'm reviewing for a while before I give my final verdict on their performance. Plus, you know, life happens. Today our focus will be on the Curl Hydration Spray, Curl Moisture Cream, Curl Enhancing Custard, and the Argan Rose Hair Oil by OBIA Naturals. This is the 3rd and final part of my OBIA Naturals product review series: Moisturizers and Stylers. For more information, feel free to check out Part 1: Body and Part 2: Cleansers and Conditioners of the review series [BodyCleansers and Conditioners] so that you're all caught up!

Wild for Wallflowers

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! How are we today, good? Great! How many of us love a good smelling home? I know I do. I am obsessed with having my hair and body smelling divine, but what good is it if your home doesn’t smell good too, right? Saturday Sept. 15 was “Wallflower Day” at my local Bath and Body Works where all their Wallflower plug-ins were $2.95 ($6.50 reg. price) a pop! I grabbed a couple of my favorite scents to stock up on until some newer winter scents hit the shelves.
Scents: Almond, Champagne Toast, Flannel, Limoncello,, Midnight Blue Citrus, Spruce, Stress Relief, Rosewater and Ivy

DevaCurl No-Poo Original Cleansing Conditioner

Howdy Y'all! With all the summer sun and the extra sweat associated with the season, I find myself constantly reaching for something to cleanse my ever thirsty hair; and as much as I love that clean feel from using shampoo, too much shampooing is never a good thing, so I often co-wash (conditioner wash) in the summer with a cleansing conditioner. I don't own a lot of co-washes but one of my favorites has to be the Deva Curl No-Poo Original Zero Lather Cleansing Conditioner.

OBIA Naturals Pt 1: Body

*This post is sponsored by OBIA Naturals but the content and opinions expressed are completely my own.

Howdy guys and gals! Remember when I attended the HueAffair Tour back in May and spent the day working with OBIA Naturals as a Brand Ambassador and received a ton of products in exchange for my honest review and opinion?! Well, I had received so many products that I had no idea where to start, so in order to keep myself organized I have decided to split up my reviews into a three part series of their products: Pt 1-Body, Pt 2-Cleansers and Conditioners, & last but not least, Pt 3-Moisturizers and Stylers. This week we’ll be delving into Pt 1-Body with the Kokum Moisturizing Lotion along with the Obol Royal Body Oil.

Argan Oil Indulgence With OGX (body and skincare)

Argan Oil—Nature’s “liquid gold.” A majority of us use Argan Oil for our hair care needs because of the beneficial properties it provides, but what about our skin? Our skin is the largest organ in the body so it’s imperative we take good care of it on a daily basis. This special care starts off with a great cleanser to prep our bodies for maximum hydration when we apply our moisturizers after, so ladies and gentlemen I bring to you the Extra Hydrating Argan Oil of Morocco Body Wash by OGX.

"Indulge in this exceptionally hydrating formula with argan oil of Morocco and silk proteins. Intensely nourish skin with this rich and creamy decadent treat that leaves skin feeling silky soft and lightly scented for an extravagant and alluring radiant glow."

For The Guys

Good day to you all! This post is dedicated to all the dads (and that special guy we plan on making a dad some day🤣) out there working hard to support their families and loved ones day after day. The time has officially come and next Sunday, June 17th, is your time to shine. Ladies, our men spend so much time pampering us. They make sure we got our hair done, nails done, and most importantly, our eyebrows done, so it's only fair that we return the favor by pampering them as well. At Bath and Body Works they have products that would have your special guy feeling and smelling like the king he is for his special day! During their semi-annual sale they have products for men up to 50% off (while supplies last) ranging from $6.25-$34.50.

Heavenly Skincare For Ultrasmooth Skin

Aight so boom. I was on Target's website one day doing my usual peruse of products from brands I either want to try or have heard of in the past. My search typically begins with SheaMoisture, then I'd hop on over to Carol's Daughter and continue searching for whatever popped into my head after that. This particular day I decided to search through products from The Mane Choice since they've become quite popular in the past year. During my search I came across The Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Oil + Lotion Fusion. At the time I believe there was a 15% or 20% off all The Mane Choice products sale going on at Target and that piqued my interest immediately considering how pricey items can be from this line. Long story short, I snagged this 10oz bad boy for $12 something from the usual retail price of $14.99.

OBIA Naturals @HueAffair Tour

Hey dolls! It’s Keah, back at it again with another review (lol jk). This week’s post is about a wonderful event I attended this past weekend. On Saturday May 19th, I had the privilege of attending the HueAffair Tour as a volunteer brand ambassador for OBIA Naturals. HueAffair is an annual hair show that has a bunch of different vendors selling hair and body products at discounted prices you won’t believe. Camille Rose Naturals, Palmers, TGIN, by Made Beautiful, and OBIA Naturals were some of the vendors there, just to name a few. OBIA Naturals is a brother/sister duo company consisting of Obia Ewah and Omini Ewah who create natural hair and skincare products that utiliza natural ingredients, are vegan, and pH balanced.

Kiss Ballerina Coffin Nails (recap)

Hi cutie pies! I hope everyone had a lovely time with their mommies and mom-like role models yesterday, despite the gloomy weather outside (New York). As promised, I told you guys I would come back to you with my final thoughts on the Ballerina Coffin Nails from Kiss.

Carol's Daughter Rhassoul Clay (Miracle!)

My loves, my darlings, my dears, I think I have finally found my line of dream products for my dry, thick, unruly hair! I have only recently started using products from the same line. Normally I would mix and match shampoos, conditioners, and deep conditioners from completely different brands. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the constant mixing of products can sometimes leave your hair exhausted and leaving you a little confused. Isolating a specific line of products can help you pinpoint exactly what your hair does and doesn't like and my type 4 low porosity hair and I definitely like the Carol's Daughter Rhassoul Clay (active living haircare) Collection. Here are three products in this amazing trio:

OGX Shea Soft and Smooth Hair Butter

Deep treatment, leave-in, skin moisturizer: A product that claims to do all three? Hmmm. Hello lovelies 👋! Today I'm coming to you with the Shea Soft & Smooth Creamy Hair Butter by OGX. This hair butter has humongous claims coming from a tiny package. Weighing in at just 6.6oz this hair butter claims it could be used as a deep treatment, a leave-in conditioner and a moisturizer for your body! At first, I thought this product was just a regular cream moisturizer for your hair, but after peeling the top of the packaging back and discovering all these claims written on the label, I had no choice but to put these claims to the test and come through with the come through with a review for y'all.

Kiss Ballerina Coffin Nails

Bonsoir my loves! This post is dedicated to all my divas out here... on a budget. Today I bring to you the Ballerina Coffin Nails from Kiss; and if you at the do-it-yourself kind of diva then this nail kit would be perfect for you.

This kit comes packed with 100 full cover nails and 0.10oz of nail glue, so for less than $10 you have five times to slay the perfect manicure. Just follow these 7 easy step and your nails will be poppin' in no time!

Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil

What's up guys?! Are you tired of this shady New York Springter weather toying with your tresses? Tired of that dry, itchy scalp you thought was left behind in winter? I know I am. But have no fear, Mielle Organics Mint Almond oil is here! Let me tell y’all: I had recently finished my Jamaican Black Castor Oil and was in desperate need of a new oil. I’m a product junkie on the low so I really didn’t want to go back to castor oil without trying something new first. I was online looking for oils that I could use on my scalp AND my hair simultaneously(some oils are just meant for the hair shaft and not the scalp). I saw this oil pop up many times on the internet, but originally paid it no mind because I saw it as just another name brand oil trying to steal my coins.

Target Beauty Box: Define and Shine

Bonjour mes amis! How are we doing today?! Fabulous? Fabulous! I just wanted to take the time to come to y'all today with this amazing find from one on my FAVORITE stores, Target. Target has an array of different Beauty Boxes with samples of hair, skin and beauty products to test of for just $7 each month. This particular Beauty Box is the Define and Shine collection with samples that cater to the natural hair community.

So Fresh So Clean

Wah Gwan guys and gals! It's officially Monday, so start your week off right with the So Fresh So
Clean Awesome Apricot Cleansing Pore Scrub. This face scrub is extremely gentle. It says

“milder formula” on the packaging, so I don’t know if there’s a “non-mild” formula counterpart.
In comparison to the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, the beads in this scrub are not rough on your face at all
so if you have sensitive or oily skin this would be a great product to look into.

ORS To The Rescue!

Hello bloggers and bloggettes! Spring is upon us yet again, and it’s time to whip out those box braids and wash and go's and the ORS Olive Oil with Pequi Oil Smooth and Easy Edges hair gel is just the product you’ll need to keep those edges sleek and in place all day long.

Tbh I was a little on the fence about purchasing the ORS edge control, but after finally giving it a try after debating giving it to my curl-friend I am head over heels in love! The promise of this edge control is to “keep wavy, curly, kinky edges smooth.” Upon reading this I though “yeah right and I’m the queen of Wakanda.” Boy did this edge control deliver, and girl did I feel like a queen! I was utterly stunned when I saw what this product did for my stubborn, unruly edges. I am one of the type 4’s (pretty sure I’m 4C) and this product left me be-dazed.
